![]() ![]() I use emojis to quickly assign the priority based on the section, since it can’t be automated, and the sections are then sorted using due dates. I use the Eisenhower Matrix approach, so my sections look like this: Here’s where I quickly save books, movies, or TV shows suggestions and add a comment to remind my self who suggested what. I stopped using GTD’s context since well, I am at home most of the days, and most of the task I was labeling could be done also from my phone or iPad. If it’s an errand or something similar, to try and do more tasks while I am walking the dog, for example. If I am waiting for something before being able to complete the task. With this project I don’t use labels that often and I think the three that I use the most are: p4: It’s not really that important or it’s already schedule for some time in the distant future and I need to wait before completing it.p3: It would be nice if I could do this.To organise priorities here I use a simple approach: Wishlist: A list of things I want or need to buy (only items I really need or want to buy, the real wishlist is on ).If needed, I will then create a separate project. Adventure: Book exciting things to do, start thinking about trips, etc.Social: Meet with friends, organise dinners, etc.Myself: Main section for any task that affects me and doesn’t fit in any other section.PersonalĪs stated above, I use boards and sections to organise my projects and in this case I have: The last one (Blog) are side-projects that I am not really focusing on at the moment, so they are not involved in my filters but it’s easy to implement them if needed. I try to keep the amount of projects limited, since I think having to navigate through the sidebar causes confusion and things can get lost. I check on it from time to time and if I find something I want to do, I will then add it to Todoist. I use to save interesting things I find around the web.I try not to use it for notes or, for example, list of places I’d like to see (that I probably won’t get done in years). For me Todoist is mainly for things that can be completed. ![]()
